Lumps and Bumps
Breast lumps affect most women at some point in their life. They can cause a lot of anxiety, but in most cases, the cause is benign (i.e. not cancerous). The problem is that some lumps look benign but turn out to be cancerous, whilst the others may look suspicious and turn out to be benign.

Breast cancer is a treatable illness. In general, treatment is effective and is backed by scientific evidence. Most doctors looking after people with breast cancer are nowadays specialised in this field. Most people are looked after by a team of specialists each playing a vital role.
Breast Screening
Breast screening saves lives. We can argue this until the cow comes home. The question I ask myself is that if I were to have a breast cancer especially an aggressive one, would I want to discover it when it is in millimetres or when it is in centimetres.
Breast Pain
Breast pain is a common complaint affecting up to 7 in 10 women at some stage in their life. It can be troublesome. Management depends on the cause.
Nipple Discharge
Nipple discharge is usually noted as fluid seeping out of the nipple or a stain on clothing. The colour can range from milky to clear and colourless to green and brown. Blood can be present occasionally, and this is an important warning sign.
Breastfeeding Problems
Breastfeeding is excellent for both the mum and the baby. Most mums will experience some problems like engorgement, poor flow and/or supply, problems with latching, and the list goes on. Thankfully most of these problems are successfully dealt with by lactation consultants and midwives.
